PHRASE Project officially came to an end on July 31st

Building a personalised data pipeline for stroke AI-based diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention.

Over the past years, PHRASE has been dedicated to advancing the field of digital neurorehabilitation by creating a workflow that integrates the best available scientific knowledge into efficient prognosis and intervention protocols for stroke and other brain-related diseases.

The PHRASE project officially came to an end on July 31st, and we, Eodyne Systems S.L., Saddle Point Science Europe, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, EBRAINS and Radboud University, are now preparing for the final review on October 8th.

Building on the clinically validated RGS Ecosystem, PHRASE introduced a next-generation platform that combines:
– Immersive VR/AR environments
– Multimodal data acquisition (motor, cognitive, physiological)
– AI-driven personalisation through a closed-loop adaptive system

This approach allows therapies to continuously adapt to the patient’s evolving needs, offering predictive and responsive rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, dementia, aphasia, PSCI, depression, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury.

The project’s feasibility study was carried out across six hospitals (Adacen, INA Memory Center, Clínica Universitaria La Salle, Université de Limoges, Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Deu, Hospital Universitari Joan XXIII and Institutul RoNeuro) in Europe, and randomised clinical trials are ongoing in Spain and Romania, further validating the clinical and societal impact of PHRASE.

We look forward to sharing the full results during the final review and to seeing how PHRASE will inspire the next generation of digital health solutions.

Transforming Neurorehabilitation and Stroke Care: The RGS Ecosystem is launched in Romania!

We are pleased to announce that the RGS Ecosystem, an AI-driven neurorehabilitation solution, was presented at the 2025 National Neurology Forum in Bucharest. This was a key event for Romania’s National Strategy for Combating Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases (SNBCC), and the country’s approach to rehabilitation care

As part of the European PHRASE campaign, the RGS ecosystem, developed by Eodyne Systems, is being introduced into the Romanian health care system to support more personalized and efficient neurorehabilitation solutions. By integrating advanced AI technology, RGS+ enables measurable progress and greater continuity of care, supporting patient recovery with increased autonomy and the potential to optimize rehabilitation resources. Designed to support long-term recovery at home under clinical supervision, the RGS ecosystem is an innovative solution that helps bring a more data-informed and patient-centered approach to

 neurorehabilitation.

We are proud to collaborate with the RoNeuro Institute in Cluj-Napoca, and appreciate the support of national and international institutions including the Romanian Ministry of Health, and the Romanian Academy.

This is innovation driving transformation.

Meet the Data Webinar

🧠 Meet-the-Data @Gesundheitsforschung: Spotlight on EBRAINS 🔍

In our Meet-the-Data webinar this wednesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Petra Ritter and Michael Schirner, who introduced the powerful European research infrastructure EBRAINS.

The EBRAINS Health Data Cloud offers much more than access to MRI data for secondary use:

✅ Explore interactive brain atlases
✅ Submit data access requests directly via the EBRAINS platform for controlled-access datasets
✅ Analyze data securely within a GDPR-compliant virtual research environment

👉 It’s a great example of how data protection and innovation can go hand in hand!

PHRASE at Data4Life

Why should health data be researchable?

Because it holds the key to better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
At BIONNALE2025, we joined a powerful panel of experts to explore how to make health data meaningful, secure, and usable — across institutions and borders.

Opportunities in LATAM – PHRASE

We had the pleasure of hosting a delegation of graduates from IEEM – Escuela de Negocios and Universidad de los Andes (CL) at Eodyne Systems S.L.!

During their visit, we showcased Eodyne’s rehabilitation solutions and discussed the digital health context in Europe and South America.

This exchange has opened opportunities to collaborate on development and technology integration projects in LATAM, supported by the EU, and we look forward to sharing these advancements as they unfold.

PHRASE at Frontiers Health

Santiago Brandi, CEO of Eodyne Systems S.L. participated at the Frontiers Health event during the panel discussion Beyond grant funding: The importance of public funding in a challenging environment.
